1. What data we process
Account / license: License keys and email addresses used for software activation.
Application data: Automation profiles, macros, scripts, and game settings are stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your browser game login credentials or passwords on our servers.
Diagnostics / crash data: If the app crashes, you may optionally choose to send an anonymous crash report.
Update checks: When checking for compatibility updates, our servers log your IP address, app version, and OS.
Website: Our website totalcrypter.com uses standard server logs.
2. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
Performance of contract / legitimate interests: Delivering the software, verifying licenses, operating totalcrypter.com, and ensuring game compatibility.
Consent: Processing optional crash reports.
3. Recipients and processors
Hosting: totalcrypter.com (including downloads and update metadata) is operated using EU-based hosting infrastructure under Article 28 GDPR processor agreements.
Payment provider: in-app token purchases are processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers on TotalCrypter servers. Stripe processes payment data under its own terms and privacy notice.
4. Transfers outside EU/EEA
Data is primarily hosted within the EU. Where we use service providers outside the EU, we ensure adequate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
5. Retention
Server logs are deleted on a rolling basis (currently within 14 days). License data is kept as required by German retention laws (up to 10 years).
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data. You may object to processing or withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Security — All traffic between the software and totalcrypter.com is secured via TLS/SSL.
8. Children — TotalCrypter is not directed at children under the age of 16.
9. Changes — Material changes to this policy will be communicated via totalcrypter.com or app update notes.
