Which build should I pick?

Installer — simplest path for most users; lives under Program Files with Windows-standard maintenance.
Portable — no admin install flow; duplicate folders for alt accounts or backup “known good” trees.

Binaries are identical between formats. The same EULA and Privacy Policy apply.
